THE ROLE:
Live and breathe breakfast service while serving a contemporary menu that appeals to all. Using quality, fresh produce, you will be proud of the food that you serve daily to a devout following of locals and visitors to the Newcastle area. Have input into menu creation, be very strong with mise en place, ordering and stock control while also serving a standard of food that builds this already successful business.
YOU:
- At least 3 years as a qualified, experienced chef
- Certificate III in commercial cookery at a minimum
- A passion and energy for your trade and an eagerness to bring your enthusiasm to the team!
- A flair for menu creation and an understanding of current food trends
- Understanding of HACCP, WHS and staff management
- Reliability and maturity to open a kitchen at 6am, 5 mornings per week.
