The Marrickville Ritz Hotel part of the Waugh Hotel Consultancy Group located in the trendy inner west is looking for an energetic and dynamic Assistant Manager to join the team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the hands on leadership of a diverse bar and busy gaming room whilst on shift. You will report directly to the Licensee/ Venue General Manager.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel whilst on shift including: ensuring the Hotel staff are motivated to provide a great customer experience to all patrons.Your ability to build relationships with the locals will be critical to your success.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Solid background in all facets of hotel operations, including bar & gaming
- Outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with patrons
- A genuine focus and appreciation for quality service in both bar and gaming
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A great eye for detail and venue presentation
- RSA/RCG competency card
- A genuine passion for the industry
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Be available to work as part of a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Can think outside the box to help build sustainable revenue
- Be community minded
