Casual Weekend Café Chef
We are recruiting for an Experienced Café Chef to work weekends. This role is based in Belconnen. The successful applicant must be dynamic, experienced and passionate about hospitality and good food.
Hands-On Role
In this hands-on role the successful applicant will have the following qualities and skills:
- Excited by a challenging, fast paced environment;
- Have a burning passion for food and presentation;
- Proven experience as a Café Chef;
- Ability to design and cook a creative café menu;
- Highly motivated, looking for a long term career;
- Assist front of house when needed;
- Sound understanding of the day-to-day operations of a busy café;
- Exceptional customer service skills.
We are looking for someone with the following Attributes:
- Problem solving can-do attitude
- Must take ownership of the café and produce exciting menu's;
- Can built a rapport with regular customers, be charming and friendly;
- Ambitious, dynamic and self-motivated with the will to drive forward new ideas
- You will be creative and find workable solutions rather than problems
- Hard-working, reliable and attention to detail;
- Ability to work as part of team and unsupervised;
- You will work best under pressure and be used to juggling several things at once
