Pastry cook required for a well-established bakery (Bakemen Bakery & Café) located at 293-303 High Street, Kangaroo Flat. The applicant must have prior experience of working commercially as a pastry cook. Duties include understanding of raw materials, preparing bases using formulated ingredients, shall be able to operating machines used in pastry cooking, filling and preparing pastry products, baking, glazing and garnishing products, OH&S awareness, ordering material and other related duties. In return for your commitment and skills, you will receive a competitive salary package (50K – 60K plus Super) and receive ongoing training with the opportunity to develop your career. Applicants with formal qualifications (AQF Certificate IV) and experience will be prioritised. Position is available full time, 38 hours/week but applicant must be available for 7 days a week and willing to start early.
