Hotel Monier in Darra is a large 300plus seat food focused destination pub in the Western Suburbs. We prepare a wide variety of cuisines that involve extensive in house preparation. We specialize in great steaks, pub grub favorites, seafood and authentic Asian dishes. We are not your average knifeless kitchen and focus on preparing quality affordable fresh meals for a large regular customer base.
Multiple positions, both casual and full time are available. Full time positions must be available for split shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays, as well as be able to work a flexible changing roster. Professional presentation, positive friendly attitude and hard work ethic are essential in all positions.
The job will involve char-grilling, pans, wok cooking, fryer, pizza/sandwiches as well as relevant preparation, cleaning and record keeping, as well as other tasks as assigned by the Head Chef and Management Team. We have a small dedicated team that will expect you to get stuck in, be proactive and get the work done.
Applicants will be highly regarded if you have experience and references from high volume modern pub kitchens or restaurants.
Newly qualified applicants that have great references can expect extensive on the job training and upskilling. If you are willing to put in the effort the positions are suited to someone who is recently qualified and that is looking to build their skills as well as work in a highly regarded local establishment.
