About the role

We currently have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Corporate Account Consultant to join our Imports or Exports Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end to end coordination and management of the import/export of pets into/from Australia, including:

  • Delivery of exceptional customer service and converting customer enquiries into bookings
  • Liaising with international and domestic agencies and suppliers for the safe and timely arrival of the pet
  • Liaising with various external agencies and suppliers, including the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (DAWR) to ensure the pet is compliant with government entry requirements
  • Ensuring that quarantine formalities are met including import permits, arrangements for quarantine bookings (where applicable) and ensuring all pre-entry veterinary requirements are met
  • Arranging the domestic travel of pets within Australia prior to international travel and/or upon release from quarantine
  • Maintaining a high level of service provision to corporate clients.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience servicing high level commercial clients
  • Proven experience with the end to end coordination of a service or portfolio
  • Ability to meet and exceed targets and deadlines
  • Exceptional organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task and operate in a high volume working environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience effectively working in a team environment and autonomously
  • Experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Travel and Tourism and/or Project Management is highly desirable
  • Experience in dealing with government agencies is highly desirable.
