The historic Keilor Hotel located only 20 minutes from the city is seeking an experienced Functions Manager to join their friendly & dynamic team. This role offers long term stability and career development with the opportunity to grow the business and be rewarded
At the Keilor Hotel some of your key responsibilities will be assisting in overseeing service to a 240 seat restaurant as well as managing & catering for a diverse range of functions to our clientele in our function areas. To fulfill this role you will require exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate well & extensively with clients in tailoring their functions to their needs, whilst still meeting desired profit margins.You will be required to manage all aspects of the functions including staff training & development, performance & management of food & beverage staff, stock control & reporting of key performance indicators of your department. Other duties will involve recommending & implementing marketing strategies & development of function menus. To be successful in this position you must be able to demonstrate the following:

A proven track record in managing co-ordinating & selling functions.

High Level of organisational & communication skills & have good attention to detail

A proven record to exceed sales targets & meet wage percentage targets.
