What does your role include?
You will work within a highly dedicated team to ensure the ongoing success of our brand through the following key responsibilities:
- Flawless execution of service and coordination of section.
- Identify, meet, and satisfy the customers' needs and expectations.
- Demonstrate proper service techniques, adhering to specifications, observing appearance, quality and temperature.
- Development of a strong understanding of our menu.
- Take and serve orders efficiently as requested by customers in a friendly and energetic manner.
- Lead the team and maintain a strong team dynamic through demonstrated technique and quality standards.
- Resolve any complaints immediately and escalate them to the Restaurant Manager, where necessary.
- Assist in staff training initiatives and career development plans.
- Monitor and adhere to food safety plans and WH&S compliance.
What are we looking for?
- 1-2 years' experience waiting tables in casual/ upmarket, high volume restaurant environment.
- Ambition to have a career in the hospitality industry.
- Technical skills and experience in utilising restaurant POS and operating systems.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to understand and respond to individual guest needs and requirements.
- Hold a current NSW RSA certificate.
- Highly developed communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and think on your feet under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic team and independently.
