The Sebel Brisbane is currently seeking a Purchasing and Stores Officer to join their professional and dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and involving liasion with the Food & Beverage Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring inventory supplies are sufficient to meet the Hotels operational requirements and that all transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner. The Role is Part-Time and we will be offering approximately 20 hours a week - Monday to Friday.
As a Purchasing and Stores Officer, your tasks and responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to the following:
• Ensure correct documentation is completed for all goods entering and leaving the stores.
• Ensure that all goods are correctly received in accordance with the quantities and quality stated in the purchase orders and specifications are accounted for and properly stored.
• Coordinate the monthly stock take with appropriate Department Managers.
• Produce monthly stock reports including usage, stock on hand and cost of goods.
• Responsible for the prompt distribution of goods to sub-stores or user departments.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and neat arrangement of loading dock, stores and proper storage of goods.
