Cater Care are seeking an experienced Full Time Chef within an educational facility in Marion.

The key to our success is our people. This is hands on cooking for students daily meals, preparation for function and events. Your role in this environment is to ensure our students, staff and function guests have the opportunity to enjoy their meals in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere with excellent food service and quality.

Key Responsibilities include:

Preparation of daily meals, functions: weddings, conferences and school/sporting camps
Cooking of a variety of nutritious home style and gourmet meals
Ordering stock and stock control
Kitchen hygiene and Food Safety practices
All aspects of kitchen operations including cleaning and washing dishes

Key Criteria:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent experience
Experience in bulk cooking, functions/conferences and or high end catering
A passion for great food and customer service
Ability to work as part of a team

Roster: Monday to Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm During School Terms

Please Note: Working with Children Check required before commencing

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational context. You will be a well presented and self-motivated individual who has excellent organisational and communication skills.
