Adelaide Venue Management Corporation operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium (CS).

A unique full-time opportunity is now available for a talented, up and coming Chef de Partie to join our globally-awarded and internationally-experienced ACC main kitchen team.

Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, you will be required to assist in the production of food in keeping with standards required to meet client expectations, contribute fresh ideas towards the planning of the Centre's menus, through research into current market trends and to assist with the training of apprentices.

This position will definitely suit a positive, passionate individual who thrives in a large commercial kitchen environment and is keen to grow their skill-set and knowledge-base, while producing high-volume, leading-edge cuisine to ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems.

To be successful in the role you will need:-

A recognised trade qualification in Commercial Cookery
Significant proven experience within a similarly-structured, commercial kitchen environment
Experience in high-volume event catering and a-la-carte food service
A broad skills and knowledge base, enabling you to work flexibly within all areas of the ACC kitchen - and possibly at other AVM venues, if required
Thoroughly versed in Hygiene, HACCP and Food Safety protocols (ISO 22000 desirable), with a demonstrated adherence to the practical implementation of such standards
Calm under pressure, able to meet stringent timelines in a highly demanding environment
