The Wests Group Macarthur is a progressive group in Sydney's South-West, comprising of Western Suburbs League Club Campbelltown, Wests Tennis Club Campbelltown, Country Club Gledswood Hills and Lakeside Golf Club Camden. The key to our success is our people with over 330 staff and 75,000 members across our venues.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Casual Chef with a passion for delivering excellent quality food for our function and events. Our Clubs are a destination for entertaining including corporate meetings, functions, events, product launches, weddings and golf corporate days. You will enjoy working in a busy environment and expressing your creative flair through the proud delivery of your meals.
To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in a high volume catering function environment
- Ability to maintain a continual high standard of food quality and presentation
- A people person who is able to build rapport with various internal & external stakeholders
- Strong planning, time management and execution skills
- Display a strong work ethic, positive attitude and a strong sense of initiative
- Exceptional communication & customer service skills
- Immaculate standard of personal presentation & grooming
- Relevant commercial cookery trade qualifications
- Strong adherence to food standards, operating procedures, WHS and regulatory guidelines
- An ability to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends
- Full drivers licence and use of own car
