Sofitel, the Luxury International brand for AccorHotels, offers Lounge guests a new attitude for cosmopolitan business and leisure travellers visiting the Qantas International Lounges. The team consists of 100 employees working in the Business and First Class Lounges. We have the pleasure of looking after up to 5,000 of Qantas’s most valuable passengers every week.
 
Based predominately in the first class lounge, this role requires you to drive a small team to deliver our guests the highest levels of luxury service.
Duties include;
• Providing end to end food & beverage service to passengers including; taking orders, clearing and resetting  tables, providing suggestions on menu options, bar and beverage service.
• Familiarising yourself with VIP and regular passengers to ensure their requests and needs are met.
• Having the necessary skills and training to actively resolve any challenges presented by passengers – the ability to turn any negative into a positive.
• Conducting staff induction and training and ensuring all staff are competent in service procedures, and providing learning and development feedback when required.
• Motivating and inspiring a team to deliver the highest level of service experience.
Skills and experience;
• Have a confident and outgoing personality and exceptional attention to detail
• Luxurious state of mind and impeccable grooming and personal presentation
• Previous leadership experience in a luxury 5 star environment is desirable
