The Mitchelton Hotel is a 58 room luxury boutique hotel located within in the grounds of Mitchelton Wines Estate.  Mitchelton Hotel is enveloped in a relaxing setting with views overlooking the pristine Goulburn River; a stunning Australian bush backdrop, dominated by red gums and native grasslands, and surrounding vineyard.  All this and only approximately 90 minutes out of Melbourne and just minutes from Nagambie, Central Victoria. 

We are seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Manager to lead and develop the housekeeping team.  Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will have responsibility for the professional, safe and cost effective running of the Housekeeping Department, and ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas and back of house.

You will bring to Mitchelton a passion for excellence, exceptional customer service skills and outstanding leadership skills.  To be successful in the role you will have:

• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Ability to build effective relationships with both staff and clients
• Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays
• Strong attention to detail in the presentation of rooms and public areas
• Rostering of Housekeeping team and cost control
• Stock Control
