Current management has been here less that 18 months and we are working hard to rebuild this fabulous resort on South Straddie. We love it and are looking for staff who share our love and passion for this Iconic property.

 

About the role

We are currently seeking a Front Office all rounder

Reporting to The Front Office Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Process online, email and telephone reservations enquiries and bookings.
  • Provide quality service to all guests by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously
  • Attend to all incoming calls in a professional and polite manner, constantly striving to provide total customer satisfaction
  • Use every opportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills
  • Attention to detail in the booking process
  • Ability to work 7 day roster as we operate 365 days a year
  • Dedication to friendly customer service
  • Welcome our guests, always smiling, with a can do attitude
  • Excellent grooming and presentation standards
  • Provide quality service to all guests by responding to their requests   promptly, efficiently and courteously during check in, check out and for the duration of their stay
  • Ensure procedures are followed for all monetary transactions, accounting and banking accordingly
  • Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis

Skills and experience

What we are looking for in you: (Guest Services Roles)

  •  Previous experience as a receptionist/reservations agent in a hotel environment a Must.
  • Previous experience on RMS an advantage
  • Professional telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays

You must have the right to work in Australia and have fluent English.
