About the business and the role
Lucky Chans Laundry and Noodle Bar is a unique concept here in Perth, hidden behind the facade of an old Chinese laundromat. We serve up a pan asian menu with a western twist.
The business itself is extremely busy year round, with huge followings of new and existing guests.
What we are looking for is an experienced Sous Chef to join our solid and hard working team.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the head Chef, the main duties of this hands on role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Experience with and assist in Menu Creation and costing
- Supervision of prep work
- Enforcing OHS Workplace practices and Food Safety Standards are practised at all times
- Training and superviason of new employees
- Responsible for quality of and consistency of products and service
- Supporting the Head Chef and ensuring smooth operations in the absence of the head chef
- Rostering and ordering
Skills and experience
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar environment/role.
You must have great communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
