We have a great opportunity for you to join our growing business events sales team.
Position Overview
This is an action packed, hands-on role where you will be responsible for:
- Acquiring and following up on leads, including preparing, presenting and following up on event proposals
- Managing your portfolio of corporate and association accounts to maintain existing client relationships whilst undertaking proactive sales
- Facilitating site inspections with clients, stakeholders and industry partners
- Meeting revenue targets through securing events business for Doltone
- Attending industry network events as appropriate
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and timely in and our CRM system
The dual role focus is on organically growing a portfolio of clients and growing this fabulous portfolio through acquiring new business clients.
What are we looking for?
- Proven successful record in a similar sales capacity – preferably in MICE/events industry
- Ability to find, foster and maintain positive stakeholder partnerships
- Exceptional communication skills – including business writing and presentation skills
- Passion for sales and achieving targets and objectives
- An energetic, fun and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to meet deadlines and tasks within a busy environment
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations with your own initiative
- Own vehicle with full driver's license where offsite appointments are required outside City/CBD
