Contracting Manager – Land and Air

The Role
Working on a part-time basis (approx. 20-25 hours/week) the purpose of this role is to champion TTC’s contracting and distribution processes for land and third-party air products and assist the Head of Commercial in delivering the commercial growth strategy. This is inclusive of, but not limited to, Contiki, Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, AAT Kings, Adventure World, Uniworld, Luxury Gold and U by Uniworld and all related entities.
Relationship building skills are a must for this role while solid stakeholder management, both internally and externally is very important: including internal clients (key decision-makers within each brand), external suppliers and distribution partners. A positive, can-do attitude, immaculate attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines is a prerequisite for success in this role.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be qualified within a relevant field and will be an experienced Contracting Manager or an experienced Airfares and Ticketing Manager looking for the next step, demonstrating high levels of competence across both Land and Air Contracts.
You must be agile, analytical in nature, demonstrate solid people management skills and be comfortable working within a fast-paced and often high-pressured environment. You will thrive on having a ‘can-do’ attitude and will demonstrate the flexibility and adaptability to embrace and successfully work across various brands, demographics and stakeholders.
It would be advantageous to have solid established relationships within the travel industry. Key skills and knowledge will also include:
· Strong negotiating/contracting skills
· Good knowledge of the Travel Industry market and competitive product
· Good knowledge of Air products and airline fare sheets
· Experience using Amadeus GDS
· Good knowledge of Excel will be an advantage
