The Oriana, Orange is currently under renovation and will become a totally revamped 49 room boutique hotel, destined to become Orange's new hot accommodation and dining venue. We are looking for a dedicated Head Chef to manage our new kitchen operation, with 3 new restaurant outlets due to open late September/early October.

You will be responsible for the effective management of the kitchen operation serving our new Hotel Lounge & Bistro, Bar & Garden Dining, Restaurant & Wine Bar, and in-room dining. This hands-on role involves cooking with the kitchen team, recruiting and mentoring staff, ordering and stock control, menu planning, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, and managing all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring the kitchen meets the high standards of our hotel.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Classically trained Chef with great passion and excellent palate
• 5-8 years cooking experience
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef would be an advantage
• International experience highly regarded
• Ready for a big career jump to create a new dining experience
• Good understanding of classic European cooking, but with a creative approach to modern dining
• Must be well organised and have good leadership skills
