About the Role
A new opportunity exists for a passionate, creative and driven team orientated Head Chef or Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their career AND also a 2nd Chef/Cook. You will work closely with the owners to take the dining experience to the next level.
This role will suit enthusiastic, friendly Chefs whose focus is on plating up quality dishes with a passion for producing great quality food each and every time whilst driving ongoing menu development from the freshest of ingredients. Having a genuine interest in customer satisfaction and getting to know your customer base will be at your advantage.
Ideally you will have previous experience in quality pub style operations and a la carte environments.
*Both positions are fulltime with salary negotiable on experience.
About You:
To be successful you must:
- Ideally be a qualified Chef, who is motivated, hands on, and a passionate team player with proven longevity in your previous employment
- Head Chef to have solid understanding of COGS/Wages, whilst also having previous experience in rostering, ordering and team development
- 2nd Chef/Cook ability to work unsupervised in absence of the Head Chef
- Strong knowledge of OH&S and Food Safety within a kitchen environment
This is a hands on role where you have the opportunity to partner and collaborate with local suppliers to consistently produce high quality food.
