Within our new service kitchen in Brisbane we have some exciting opportunities at Gate Gourmet for Catering Assistants within ouroperations team. Here at Gate Gourmet we take extreme pride in the work we do. We have a unique service offering for our clients and work within the airline catering industry. We are currently growing our business and growing our team to continue this success in to the future.
Position Summary: The Gate Gourmet Catering Assistance are responsible for:
- Portion and package meals according to specifications
- Measure quantities of food items according to specifications
- General kitchen duties as required
Key requirements:
- Past exposure in the hospitality industry is an advantage
- Familiarity with food safety principles
- Working knowledge of OH&S
- Ability to learn quickly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently to strict aircraft schedules.
- Available to work a 24/7 rotating roster (including public holidays, weekends, early and late shifts).
- Love working in a team(family) environment
