Canossa services is a not-for-profit Aged care & private Hospital facility located in Oxley, Brisbane.
We have an opportunity for a multi-skilled, reliable person to work in our 200 bed facility. Do you have experience working as a cook or chef and are now looking for something different?
We need you to have experience working in a fast-paced food service environment, able to back-fill our Chefs when they are absent on leave or unavailable to work. You can learn a variety of our production shifts - including breakfast, larder, dessert section - so we need you to have a good depth of understanding of a professional kitchen, in a very faced-paced environment..
When not working in our production section, you will be able to work in our kitchen stores' area, or in our food services area - which could include working on the plating line, delivering trolleys, working on the wash up line, cleaning in our busy kitchen.
You must be experienced in food services' - able to demonstrate a good understanding of food hygiene, and proper cleaning techniques; you must be available to work all our shifts - from 6.00am start - to our latest shifts finish at 8.30pm.
We need you to be able to work Mondays to Sundays. Some weekend work could be required.
We need you to be able to provide us with a clean Police Clearance - and we will check your references to confirm all details provided in your application.

Casual rate is $26.20 per hour Monday to Friday, increasing on weekends
