About the business and the role
Our RSL is small but has a lot of potential and growing rapidly in all areas: 31 machines, 50 seat bistro and full sized function room.
We are seeking a dedicated individual who will lead and develop people and deliver outstanding customer service.
Job tasks and responsibilities
As Operations Manager you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure all aspects of the club run smoothly. This includes financial targets, sales, marketing and promotions, and compliance.
A passion for hospitality and customer service will help you excel in this position.
Full time position which will require working up to 40-45 hours on a rotating roster including evenings and weekends.
Skills and experience
It is essential that applicants have a Valid Gaming Industry Employee Licence.
Applicants are also required to have:
- Current RSA/RSG/RSF Certificates.
- Previous experience in a Senior/Supervisory Role.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to supervise staff and bring out the best in them.
- Conflict resolution and clear communication style
- Desire to contribute to the success and growth of the club
- Experience with using System 1
- Stock and labour management knowledge
