Located on the tip of the pristine Dampier Peninsula, Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm was established in 1946 and has been open to the public since 2009.
Here is your opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia as part of a friendly and professional team.
We are located 200km north of Broome, so you will need to be prepared to live in a remote environment and as part of a small community. Food and accommodation are provided.

Coxswain Tour Guide
Reporting directly to the Head Coxswain, the Tour Guide will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of marine tours. You will be working closely with the other tourism team members to provide a excellent and professional experience for all customers & guests. This is a casual contract finishing late September 2018, with a possibility of extension.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safe operation of all tourism vessels responsible for the welfare and safety of all passengers and crew,
- Adhere to strict OH&S policies and company procedures,
- Conduct land & marine tours of the pearl farm and surrounding areas,
- Under the direction and supervision of your manager you will need to carry out maintenance and cleaning duties on tourism vessels,
- Front of house and basic reception duties, and
- On occasion you may be required to assist with charter and/or pearling operations.
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of a current unrestricted Coxswain,
- Current First Aid certificate,
- Manual Drivers Licence, and
- Possess a sound working knowledge of the NSCV code.
Desirable Qualities
- Experience in marine tourism,
- F Endorsement and MR drivers licence,
- Previous experience working and living in a remote location, and
- Sound knowledge of vessel maintenance.
