The heart and soul of our kitchen is the grill. From the moment we fire her up in the morning, til we polish her down at night, so much chicken has been grilled, so many juicy beef patties have been perfected on it, that mouth watering smell of double smoked bacon frying away. It’s a work of art.
I’ll be honest, working in this kitchen gets bloody hot. But I love food, I love burgers, this is what we do down here, we provide a vast majority of the North/West with an extremely high quality product. We’re fast approaching the warmer seasons which is when our beachside business really kicks off, the job will be available around late August.
The business is Barry’s Burgers which is located on Semaphore Road. The hours will be part-time or full time depending on the applicants, but 40+ hours will be available. We ideally would like to work with someone that understands the hospitality lifestyle. Weekends are when we shine, so that’s when we have the All Stars working! I will make sure you get 2 days off as well and we can structure a roster that works for everyone. We close up around 9pm so you can usually get home at a reasonable hour.
We do require experience, this job is solely for finding our next team member to work the grill. Creating specials and working closely with a passionate group of foodies are the perks! Other tasks will be included and we love for people to learn other aspects of the business operations as well, but if grilling is your thing, then this is for you. If you have never worked a kitchen, then please wait until Summer and we might have something else for you.
