We are looking for a hospitality professional to fill the position of staffing manager. Are you a vibrant team leader with top notch hospitality skills and know your way around a computer? Can you lead by example and build a strong staffing team? 

Key Responsibilities 

• Book all wait staff for catering and venue events 
• Book & Confirm all weekly staff bookings via internet system – ROSTERCLOUD
• Continual communication with staff via email and staff phone including discipline
• Meet set staffing budget
• Provide leadership, praise and on the job training
• Ensure all staff have current and valid RSA
• Update the RSA log forms weekly
• Casual staff paperwork filed and up to date including new employee forms, staff level evaluations, increase in existing pay rates and supervisor feedback sheet
• Ensure staff details & contact lists are being maintained and are up-to-date including master staff list and contact manager software program
• Casual staff uniforms distributed to all permanent casual staff and charged accordingly
• Casual staff references (writing & checking)
• Ensure staff guidelines and procedures are up to date 
• Implement regular training sessions for staff and supervisors
• Recruit new staff members to include event supervisors, wait staff, chefs, kitchen assistants and kitchen hands
• Attend events weekly to check grooming and assess staff skills

This role is a full time position with some evening and weekend work. We are looking for a bright, organised, hospitality person with great computer skills. Someone with prior staffing experience is preferred.
