ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Night Auditor you will ensure all night audit procedures are completed in a

timely and accurate manner. You will prepare required reports, checking that the information is correct. In this position you will take responsibility for the safety and security of the building, responding to emergency situations and any guest concerns with guidelines.

Duties include:

• Reconciling paperwork from day shift
• Correct allocation of funds in the system
• Manually counting and reconciling of cash and card transactions (investigating mistakes if required)
• Organising VIP arrival and amenities
• Hotel room floor checks
• Over night room service
• Reception duties (late check ins and early check outs)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• RSA Competency Card
• Proficient in verbal and written English
• Have a passion to deliver great customer service
• Ability to accurately handle cash.
• Sound understanding of hotel administration procedures
• A keen eye for detail
• A natural ability with numbers would be advantageous
• Excellent time management ability
• Professional phone manner
• Previous experience with a PMS, Opera or Fidelio (will be highly regarded)
• Previous experience in a reception based role
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work 5 days in a 7 day roster. Shifts could fall on any day of the week mainly between the hours of 11pm and 7am
• An availability for other shifts in the day if cover is required or for earlier starts would be advantageous
• A passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for working with people
• A professional and friendly attitude
• Great work ethic and reliability
