The Restaurant
Redfern Continental is a busy European restaurant and bar located in Redfern. The menu is focused on classic Continental dishes and over the past 3 years we have built a strong loyal following.
The Role
There is plenty of room for creativity and fresh ideas, backed by an established staff and a great Sous Chef. We are looking for someone with a passion for European cuisine that can lead a kitchen team and work with management to continue our company's growth.
What we need
- experience and passion for cooking classic European cuisine
- effective communication and leadership skills with a hands on approach
- a thorough understanding of food costs and stock control.
- Hiring, training and rostering staff, including understanding labour costs within a kitchen.
- understanding kitchen OH&S and food safety standards
- proven experience in a similar role
