RACV Torquay Resort is one of the most spectacular resorts in regional Victoria. The resort boasts state of the art accommodation, day spa, gymnasium, swimming pool, newly designed golf course, a stylish array of dining and bar facilities, and superior conference and event facilities.
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendant to be part of our growing Conference and Events team on a Full Time basis.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing timely and courteous service and anticipating guests needs
- Establishing rapport with guests that supports repeat and new business
- Continually updating knowledge and skills in procedures and maintaining a broad understanding of all Food & Beverage sections of the Resort
- Assisting and supporting fellow staff members within your team and the greater Food & Beverage team
- Demonstrating sound knowledge of all menu and wine list items
- Adhering to RACV Torquay’s presentation and staff grooming standards
- Set up and delivery of service
What are we looking for?
- A bright and bubbly person with strong communication skills
- Someone who goes out of their way to ensure a memorable experience for guests
- Experience working in the Conference and Events area of a resort, hotel or large restaurant
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekend
