About UQU

About the Role
We're looking for an obsessed foodie and experienced grill and fryer Cook to join our Red Room Bar & Grill team. We require someone who is passionate about what they do and willing to lend a hand in all areas of the outlet, as all our teams are committed to helping each other whenever and wherever they can.
Is this you?
You're a passionate grill and fryer Cook. You live and breathe food but find value in life beyond the kitchen. The idea of working on the grill and producing good food is exciting for you. We do require experience, in particular:
- Awesome Customer service skills
- Experience on fry, grill and production and good knife skills
- Ability to shift priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organisation and control
- A high commitment to food handling and safety as well as WHS procedures and practices
- Love working as a part of a team in a fun, high-energy and fast-paced environment
About you:
- Qualifications in Commercial Cookery
- At least 2-3 years experience as a Cook working in a fast past kitchen environment and high quality food preparation
- Must hold a safety certificate and food servers certificate
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Self-motivated, hands-on and constantly working on ways to make things better
