The Hunter Valley Golf Course is a spectacular 18 hole championship course set amongst the Hunter Valley’s world famous vineyards in the grounds of the valley’s leading resort, Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley. Hunter Valley Golf enjoys premium facilities, Pro-shop, impressive mountain range views and warm, friendly service. The Par 71 course is nearly 6,000 metres long; with an expansive lake, rolling hills and tree-lined fairways adding to the course’s natural beauty, while providing an extra challenge for experienced golfers.
At the moment we're looking for an Assistant Gardener to join our energetic and dedicated Landscaping and Green Keeping team at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley. You will love working in the outdoors, working both independently and in a team environment. You will be passionate about ensuring that our hotel grounds are safe and well presented for our local members and guests.
Ideally you'll have previous gardening experience with plant disease and pest knowledge a must, be physically mobile and able to carry, lift and push heavy items and gardening equipment. You will have a C class drivers license and able to operate equipment involved in the maintenance of gardens and turf. You will also be able to demonstrate previous training in the safe handling of pesticides.
