Our client is an Aged Care Facility located in Waratah.
We are currently looking for experienced catering assistants and chef assistants to work within the main kitchen and various kitchens/serving areas.
These are casual positions, which means your hours will vary from week to week, depending on the needs of the aged care facility.
Sometimes you will be contacted with plenty of notice, but other times you may be asked if you can work immediately.
The kitchen environments are very busy. To be successful, you must have experience working in a similar kitchen environment.
You must be able to multi-task and work under pressure. Experience working in Aged Care is highly desirable.
Your duties may include any or all of the following:
· Food preparation
· Cleaning dishes
· Set up / pack away dining areas
· Food service to residents and care staff
You must be able to provide two recent work referees and hold a current criminal / police clearance or be confident you will pass a criminal check and have reliable transport.
