The Monash Club is one of the entertaining venues within Monash University, Clayton Campus which is exclusive to Staff, Alumni and their guests. The role involves managing multiple areas and event spaces such as conference rooms, private dining room and an a la carte restaurant.

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the venue and establishing brand standards along with senior members of the team. Ensuring your team are trained to manage the expectations of our clients to excel in customer service.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of two years experience in a similar role including a la crate or corporate catering
• Ability to increase sales and establishing return business to ensure continued business growth
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple service areas
• The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of personal, staff and venue presentation
• Diverse experience in planning and executing a variety of events from small celebrations to large scale events
• Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients
• Astute attention to detail in all areas
• Exceptionally high standards and a strong work ethic and passion for continuous improvement
