BD is currently seeking a Clinical Manager to lead our team of clinical educators across Australia & New Zealand within our vascular portfolio. In this role you will take ownership of managing the clinical team while utilising your commercial background to drive strategy and growth for the business. In this newly created role you will use your commercial experience and clinical experience to shape guidelines and best practice for a high performing team.  

This role can be based out of Sydney or Melbourne and involves up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to a team of 8 clinical educators, with scope to grow the team
• Engage with the Medical leadership team
• Build market knowledge and relationships with key industry stakeholders and customers
• Identify any knowledge gaps and build a development plan to upskill the team
• Develop and implement strong business strategy with your team
• Undertake interstate travel up to 50% of the time
• Drive efficiency and excellence in the team
• Help to build team engagement and a team identify
• Implement a new associate and resource management system
• Various as hoc projects (i.e. integration planning etc.)

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience within sales or marketing within the healthcare industry
• Previous experience in a clinical role (Nursing, clinical educator etc.)
• People and team management and coaching experience
• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or equivalent preferred
• Sound business acumen
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Ability to communicate clearly across various levels of stakeholder
• Proven experience in developing and implementing training and upskilling plans

Our preferred candidate has previous clinical AND commercial experience within the Australian healthcare market, a positive track record of people management and development, proven success in developing business strategy as well as a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and exceptional communication skills. As this is a national position, minimum 1-2 weeks travel per month is expected.
