About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team on a part time basis to coordinate and support the rollout of initiatives to improve chronic disease prevention and management in western Sydney.

The successful candidate will:

  • Coordinate, drive and evaluate health initiatives
  • Support the commissioning process including tendering, provider selection and contract negotiations
  • Liaise with service providers to ensure contractual and reporting requirements are met
  • Support the PHN Needs Assessment, Planning, Data Capture and Reporting processes
  • Assess nurse educational needs and organisational priorities to develop and implement a nurse education curriculum
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Your qualifications and skills will include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health or business
  • 3 years’ experience working in a similar role preferably on health care programs
  • Stakeholder management and strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Understanding of the Australian healthcare and primary health industry (desirable)

This is a fixed term role for a period up to 30 June 2019.
