Aged Care Facility Manager

This is a very rare opportunity to join a market leader in Aged Care and community Services. Our client is looking for a highly experienced Facility Manager to manage the overall operation of this modern facility, located in Brisbane. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the facility, contribute to the preparation of and achieve the facility's budgets, maximizing revenue and delivering of care and administration. You will be a team leader with a passion for aged care, strong operational insight and the ability to manage a large team of passionate staff.

As Facility Manager, your duties will encompass:

• Contributing to the preparation of the facility’s budget and achieving budgetary targets
• Liaise with other team members to coordinate services and operations within the facility
• Manage payroll functions
• Meet specifications and targets set by Head Office
• Be proactive in maximizing occupancy level

The successful applicant will have:

• A minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Forward thinking approach to business planning and strategy development - exceptional business acumen is essential.
• Qualifications as a Registered Nurse and AHPRA membership
• The ability to operate the facility as a business while maintaining high-quality care for residents and positive environment for employees
• The ability to work exceptionally well within a team environment - strong management skills are a must.
• High-level computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office
• Ability to present well-researched reports
