You can be part of the solution for thousands of women across the region of New South Wales attending BreastScreen appointments. In this role you will be part of a dedicated diagnostic team providing mammography examinations to women in Tamworth as well as work at mobile sites across the North West NSW.

As a confident communicator and collaborative professional you will develop and promote relevant connections across multidisciplinary teams including radiographers, radiologists, sonographers, surgeons, nurses and administrative staff.

Your commitment to breast cancer screening will be integral to the position. Your natural ability to build strong and successful relationships, combined with your outstanding communication skills will ensure clients are treated in a courteous and professional manner, having regard for their rights to privacy, dignity and confidentiality and cultural diversity.

Based in the large rural city of Tamworth you will have the beautiful North West at your feet. The major regional centre is home to a population of 60,000 and is located midway between Sydney and Brisbane. Straddling the Peel River accommodation is not only affordable, but has country or city locations on offer, allowing you to have the lifestyle you wish for. The classification for this position is Level 3, however if there are no appropriate Level 3 applicants, applications from Level 2 Radiographer will be considered with appointment at the level commensurate with the applicants years of experience. The selection criteria reflect the requirements for a Level 3 applicant. Responses from Level 2 applicants need to demonstrate their level of competence with regard to the same criteria and their ability to work towards Level 3. The expected performance of the incumbent will be commensurate with their years of experience and current level at commencement of appointment.
