Detail information about job Physiotherapist. Terms and conditions vacancy

  • Mentoring, support and ongoing PD.
  • Innovative, stimulating, team environment.
  • Patient-centred, holistic Physiotherapy with long consultation times.

Fantastic opportunity to fast-track your physio skills.

Ask yourself two simple questions:

  1. Do you wish you had a solid framework for determining the root cause of your clients problems?
  2. Do you think there is more physiotherapy than we're taught in our undergraduate training?

If you answered "Yes", then you could be the physiotherapist we are searching for.

PhysiYoga is South Australia's only dedicated ConnectTherapy clinic, lead by Australia's most highly trained ConnectTherapy practitioner Emily Eglitis. Emily is passionate about supporting her team to learn this unique approach to patient care. You can expect to:

  • Learn new manual therapy skills & clinical reasoning in this mentored position which includes 1:1 skills sessions, case-studies, professional development allowance & paid travel time.
  • Learn how different regions of the body influence each other and methods to go beyond treating just the symptoms and determine the true underlying cause of a patient's problem using this whole person assessment framework.

ConnectTherapy is a revolutionary whole-person approach to assessment, diagnosis and treatment which aims to get to the Driver of the client's problem. ConnectTherapy was developed by world-leading researcher and clinician Dr Linda-Joy Lee and incorporates the Thoracic Ring Approach for understanding how dysfunction in the thorax can be caused by (or the cause of) issues in other regions of the body. Dr Linda-Joy Lee made some key observations based on her personal and clinical and experiences treating the Thorax which she studied in her PhD at the University of Queensland under the supervision of Professor Paul Hodges.

Emily is dedicated to supporting and mentoring her physiotherapy team to Find the Driver for their clients problems and thereby create real, long-lasting changes.

This position is based in our Strathalbyn clinic and we also have a clinic in Unley.

This opportunity is suitable for Physiotherapists of any experience level, including new or recent graduates. We are seeking motivated, team-players with a keen interest in private practice work. Part-time work is available for an immediate start with full time hours available soon.
