Kooweerup Regional Health has an excellent career opportunity for a highly focused, motivated and committed Nurse who is looking for the added opportunity of working in a rural environment with ready access to metropolitan Melbourne.

The organisation is offering three Graduate positions for Division 1 Registered Nurses.

Successful applicants will rotate through three areas:

  • Westernport Unit- Aged Care/Sub Acute
  • District Nursing/Health Promotion
  • Killara Hostel

 All positions focus on developing clinical and leadership skills within a supportive environment.

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • Comprehensive Orientation Program
  • Supportive Environment
  • General Graduate Nurse Program
  • On Site Educators

THE POSITIONS:

  • Three positions available | Fixed Term | 0.8EFT

The PMCV match opened 4th June 2018 for students eligible for Registered Nurse Registration with AHPRA.

Step 1.

Register with Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV).

Step 2.

List Kooweerup Regional Health Service amongst your preferences.

Note: Step 1 & 2 must be completed by 20th July 2018.

Step 3.

Send an application to KRHS directly. Your application must contain the following:

• One-page cover letter.

• Concise Curriculum Vitae including list of 2nd and 3rd year placements (hospital, ward area/experience and number of days).

• Most recent official Academic Transcript.

• Two Nursing referees who have directly supervised your undergraduate clinical experience, preferably from a third-year placement.  Ensure you provide phone and email contacts.

Interviews for potential candidates will occur between 30th July and 14th September 2018.

NB: All successful candidates will be required to provide a Police Check less than 3 months old on commencement of employment. These can be applied for through KRHS.
