About the business
Shine Early Intervention is a dynamic, fast growing, Early Intervention Service that provides high quality Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Music Therapy to children aged 0-12 years. We currently service families in the Campbelltown, Camden, Ingleburn, Narellan and Macquarie Fields areas and centre based services at our premises in Campbelltown, in which you will have access to a first class, purpose built sensory gym and therapy rooms.

We are passionate about early intervention and are dedicated to servicing clients and their families with Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay and other complex needs.
About the role
We are seeking a fully qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team. Our focus has been on children 0-7 years, but due to growing demand we are now also looking to meet the needs of children up to 12 years of age.
This position is a 5 days per week, subcontract position, so an excellent opportunity for the right person to build their own caseload and work more hours if they wish. You control the days and hours you work ( dependant upon room availability), manage your own caseload and achieve a great work / life balance! We utilise a secure, online client management and billing system so that you can work on your administrative tasks anywhere you like.

Skills and experience
Shine Early Intervention requires an Occupational Therapist with the following;
- AHPRA Registered.
- Eligible to provide services under NDIS and Medicare.
- Prefer experience working in early childhood intervention and with children who have developmental delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome etc. However, exceptional new graduates with a passion for working with young people with a disability will be considered.
- Experience with equipment prescription an advantage.
- Experience working with children with challenging behaviour.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- A sense of humour and a fun, family friendly approach.
- Prepared to go the extra mile to support and assist our families.
- Driver's licence and own vehicle and insurance.
- ABN number ( Free from the ATO)
