CPL's team of allied health professionals deliver specialist therapy services for children and adults at home, school or work, and within the community. We offer a broad range of allied health services including occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech and language pathology. The dynamic team customises intervention to provide early childhood intervention services, individual and group therapies, consultative input and school/home program development, prescription for mobility equipment, and communication aids, as well as education and training to empower the community.
We now have a key leadership opportunity at our Mount Gravatt Centre on Brisbane's south side. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services your role will be to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the multi-disciplinary Allied Health Service and provide input to the strategic direction of the centre. Responsibilities include
- To manage the day-to-day operations of the Allied Health team ensuring the most effective use of resources to meet client needs.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Allied Health team including review and evaluation of service delivery models
- Support Team Leaders to implement strategies and procedures as determined by the AH Leadership Team to improve and grow AH service
- Take relevant and timely action to maintain a safe working environment for clients, staff and other community members.
- Prepare and manage the service budget and monitor and report on achievement on a monthly basis
- Represent CPL in a range of forums both internally and in the community.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar leadership role in a clinical setting
- High level administrative and financial management skills (budget management practices in a human services environment)
- Highly effective and professional communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse groups and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and ethically manage program resources to achieve objectives
- Demonstrated innovative and strategic approach to client service delivery and organisational improvement
- Well-developed knowledge of contemporary human resource management principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in AH or aligned areas and/or extensive experience providing and managing AH services in the community preferably in the Disability sector
