We are an Exercise Physiology and Exercise Science business offering services from our two clinics in Toowoomba and Dalby. In addition, we offer outreaching clinics through Toowoomba and Western Downs.

Better Movement Clinic is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join the strong, passionate, enthusiastic, fast growing team.

The successful applicant will need:

• Exception skills in exercise programming and delivery
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to build rapport with clients, co-workers, stakeholders and local communities
• Strong creativity and resourcefulness
• Commitment and motivation
• Commitment to ongoing learning
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Passion for rural and remote health
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Driver's license and reliable car
• ESSA Accreditation
• Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, prescribe and monitor exercise programs for a wide range of chronic diseases, injuries, disabilities and athlete development client base
• Prescribe and monitor individual and group sessions
• Communication and reporting with stakeholders, medical professionals and other allied health professionals
• Public speaking and presentations regarding public health and exercise interventions

Desired attributes:

• Previous experience in private practice setting
• Previous experience working with disability and mental health
• Previous experience in indigenous health
• Cultural awareness training
