The Role
Due to growth within our business Vivir Healthcare are currently looking for a passionate Speech Pathologist to join us for referral based work within an aged care environment. This position would suit somebody in a private practice looking for some extra hours.

This role will not only see you utilise your strong Aged Care skills to work with allied health care professionals and will see you use your relationship and problem-solving skills to build sustainable relationships with our clients. You will also be working closely with the wider Vivir Healthcare business to ensure your area is running smoothly and efficiently. We are currently seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide quality services to aged care facilities in Melbourne South East.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to combine their current work or personal commitments with a rewarding part time position within Aged Care.
About the Role:
Vivir Healthcare provides Allied Health services into Residential Aged care facilities and the in home and community care sectors with the aim of making lives better. This position will see you providing assessments to post stroke clients with a focus on those suffering from dysphagia. This would ideally suit somebody who is looking for some extra hours to build up their caseload as this position is ad hoc referrals that will need urgent attention.
We are currently looking for clinicians to provide services at the following location: South East Melbourne- Brighton, Hampton, Malvern, Caulfield, Bentleigh etc

To be considered for this role you will:
• Have a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Hold a Speech Pathology Australia membership.
• Experience working with an adult post stroke caseload especially those suffering dysphagia.
• Availability to work on an ad hoc basis.
• Due to the nature of the work, you must have an ABN number.
