Facility Manager (Registered Nurse)- Aged Care - NFP - North East

An experienced Facility Manager (Registered Nurse) is required to oversee the running's of this brand new Not-For-Profit facility due to open in October. 

This opportunity will be supported by an experienced aged care team and regional manager. You will be required to provide oversight of all business operations and commissioning of the site. Some existing residents will be moving to the site initially. 

This organisation encourages continuous improvement and committed to providing a person centred model of care to the residents. 

* Commissioning experience not essential*

The Requirements:

• Nurse DIV 1 - AHPRA Registered
• At least 3 years aged care management experience
• Commissioning experience highly regarded but not essential
• Demonstrated clinical/operational leadership skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ACFI
• The proven ability to manage time efficiently
• Willingness to accept responsibility & accountability
• Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards
• Thorough understanding of continuous improvement.
• Superior communication skills both written and verbal.
• Highly organised and an ability to use and set up systems
• Experience in managing/mentoring care staff and success in managing change.
