Sonic Clinical Trials is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sonic Healthcare, Australia's largest healthcare company.
Sonic Clinical Trials is a leading provider of central laboratory, project management and client support services which support pharmaceutical, biotechnology & medical device clinical trials; and is seeking to appoint a full time Quality Officer.
The position is based within a dynamic team environment at our Macquarie Park Head Office and will appeal to a motivated Quality Officer who is looking for a challenging role within a clinical and research site setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Quality Administrative support to SCT’s Site Management Division.
- Performing site inspections and internal audits.
- Maintaining the adverse events / incidents / risk register, and performing follow up activities with internal and external stakeholders, service providers and clients.
- Ensuring staff training records are maintained and kept up to date.
- Reviewing controlled documents and ensuring document review cycles and timelines are followed.
- Assisting with records management and archiving.
- Providing WHS support when required.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in biomedical or life sciences.
- Previous experience in a Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) or a clinical Quality Assurance role.
- Training and/or experience in a Good Clinical Practice (GCP) setting is essential.
- Experience working with NSQHS or RACGP Standards will be a significant advantage.
- A professional & courteous demeanour. Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
- A high level of computer literacy (e.g. MS Office or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
This is a full-time position (5 days/week).
