6 month contract role within the child protection filed for an immediate start.
  
The Organisation 

Work within a Government agency that promote organisations that work with children to work in a safe way that promotes the best interests and rights of children to assist in the recruitment of three risk assessment officers on a full time basis.

The Role  

As the successful candidate your role will be to undertake risk assessments of individuals that that are to work with vulnerable children and where necessary provide recommendations for appropriate action. To do this you will gather all necessary information on the individual and make your recommendation using an unbiased approach, ensuring you follow certain procedures and also relevant contemporary academic literature.

The Candidate 

To be considered for this position you will have a degree in either social work or psychology and have relevant experience in assessment and management of risk in relation to child protection matters. Experience writing court reports in a child protection or corrective services would be highly regarded.
