About the business
Engage 1on1 consists of a team of professional Psychologists offering high quality mental health care for children, adolescents and adults. We have an excellent reputation with GPs and Paediatricians and an ongoing steady stream of referrals and new clients.
This is an opportunity to work within a progressive Psychology team, based within schools in metropolitan Melbourne and/or within our new clinic in Forest Hill, and to be well supported in every aspect of your role.
About the role
Child & Adolescent Psychologist: Joining our team of School Psychologists, you will work with a wide range of presentation; ASD experience preferable. Schools currently on wait-list due to high demand; start date ASAP. 1-2 weeks.
Current schools where services are provided are experiencing growing demand, in addition to having a steady stream of new schools requiring support and services.
To be successful you will have experience in evidence based therapy and act with integrity, warmth and commitment to ethical and professional standards.
You join a thriving practice of highly regarded Psychologists and work from several school locations. There is an opportunity to work within our Forest Hill clinic also. You will be professionally supported during your journey with Engage with CPD opportunities.

Skills and experience
Your clinical requirements:
- Experience in evidence based psychology, addressing emotional, behavioural and developmental issues.
- Warmth, kindness and a commitment to ethical and professional practice.
- Confident and effective communicator.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a care team and to liaise effectively with referral sources and other agencies as required.
Position requirements:
- Full psychologist registration with AHPRA.
- Current working with children check.
- Participation encouraged in peer group supervision.
