Our Coronary Care Unit is supported and accompanied by our Cardiothoracic unit which, when combined enables us to deliver a seamless cardiac care for our patients. Our patients include admissions pre & post interventional angiography, pacemaker/ICD insertion and electrophysiology studies/ablations. The unit also manages all aspects of cardiac and thoracic surgery along with acute cardiac medical admissions such as Myocardial Infarction, Acute Pulmonary Oedema, Unstable Angina Pectoris and arrhythmia management. Minimum base salary:
- $56,331.59 (EN Year 2) to $59,992.41 (EN Year 5)
- $64,615.20 (RN Year 2) to $86,065.19 (RN Year 8)
As per the Enterprise Agreement classification will be determined upon evidence of service hours relevant to the correct pay point level.
Essential Criteria
- Current nursing/midwifery registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 12 months experience in acute hospital setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High standard of customer service and a team approach
- Intermediate computer skills
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in Cardiology with Acute Cardiology and Cardiac Interventional knowledge
