We are looking for a highly organised individual who possesses a courteous manner and management skills necessary to succeed in this evolving and rewarding role.

The Role
Clinic Hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The primary focus is to ensure that the doctor's day runs smoothly and efficiently whilst also working with a small, friendly team of staff to support the everyday running of the practice.

Key Tasks

  • Daily Duties - Take all bookings, answer phones, process all accounts including Medicare and Private Health Fund accounts (invoicing, receipting and quoting). Typing and Dictaphone skills essential.

  • Customer Service - Providing professional and courteous customer service in person, email and over the phone to patients, health professionals and solicitors.

  • Database management - Efficient management of medical software, all patient data, appointments, procedures, clinical files, correspondence and accounts in Medical Director/Bluechip

  • Communication - Effective communication with hospital staff and medical professionals regarding patient admissions, procedures and investigations. Professional and confidential interaction with high profile patients

  • Organisation - Ordering stock and supplies and maintaining Inventory. Medicare and banking preparation. PA duties e.g. diary management, travel arrangements, organise meetings & conferences when required.

Your role is varied and busy so you will need to be flexible and approachable. You will be the face and voice of our practice. You will be required to work across both practices each week, 2-3 days at Five Dock and 2-3 days at St Leonards.
