Queensford College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that is focused on providing quality education and training in fully accredited courses to International and Domestic students in Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide.

 

We are committed to delivering quality and exceptional training and services to our students in courses ranging from Business, Accounting, Social Media Marketing, Hospitality, Aged Care, Early Childhood Education and Care, English Language and Health.

 

As we expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated, professional and passionate Trainer to deliver practical training and assessment and provide outstanding support to our students on a part- time basis at our Sydney Campus. The successful applicant would have previous experience in Training and Assessing of the Diploma of Nursing.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and deliver training and assessment services in accordance with RTO procedure, ensuring all ASQA  and NMBA requirements are met
  • Maintain all assessment and training paperwork to RTO requirements
  • Liaise closely with Coordinator to ensure resources for training are current
  • Provide timely and accurate data and reports when required
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the delivery of training to ensure excellent support and service to students to maximise successful outcomes
  • Maintain personal currency of knowledge in relevant Training Packages and vocational industry
  • Contribute to  the  continuous  improvement  process,  submit  requests  as  needed to RTO, and  Implement outcomes as directed

 

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification relevant to nursing
  • Current registration with APHRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 (or equivalent) including TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Five years Nursing experience
  • Previous RTO training experience highly regarded
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Standards for RTOs 2015 and CRICOS
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current Blue Card (working with children and young people)

 

Essential Skills:

  • Flexible teaching and learning strategies to assist students with barriers to learning e.g. low literacy levels or disabilities
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • High level of computer software skills
  • Ability to plan, develop, promote, facilitate, monitor and evaluate training programs
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international students
